Monthly Meetings & Public Lectures

The Society currently meets in The Braggs Lecture Theatre at the University of Adelaide, a large modern meeting venue which also facilitates wheelchair access and live streaming of our meetings. Our meetings are free and open to the public. Visitors are most welcome to attend.

COVID-19 Update (15 January 2022):

  • The Society is currently reviewing its in-person meeting requirements to ensure the continued safety of its members and the public. Changes to entry requirements at our meetings and other events can be made and implemented at short notice. Please check our website and emails before travelling.
  • Tickets are required to attend both of our monthly meetings. Tickets are free and must be obtained online at Eventbrite. The ticketing system allows us to notify attendees of any last minute changes.
  • The Society has SAGovt approved COVID Safety Plans in place for all its in-person meetings and events. In line with the COVID Safety Plans:
    • Persons must not attend if they are experiencing any COVID or flu like symptoms.
    • All attendees are required to scan in using the COVID Safe Check-In QR code or provide their details on paper records at entry.
    • Face masks are required to be worn indoors during our meetings.
  • Tea, coffee and supper may be available after General Meetings if regulations permit.
