NOTICE OF 2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Astronomical Society of SA which will be held on Wednesday, 4 December 2024.

• The location is the Braggs Lecture Theatre, University of Adelaide, which can be accessed from North Terrace or from Victoria Drive.

 

• The AGM will begin at the conclusion of the December General Meeting – at approx. 9pm.

 

While the AGM is open to the public and members, voting is only available to those who are current members of the Society.

 

ASSA members will be asked to vote re acceptance of the Draft Minutes of the 2023 AGM.

A small number of printed copies of the Draft Minutes will be available to attendees on the night.

 

Note: There were no contested nominations for 2025 ASSA Council positions, therefore no voting by members is required. It is at this meeting that the 2025 Council members will be declared.
